Have you ever wanted to give you or your friends a kit, or something of that sort? Well usually people say you can do that easily, by lining up about 10 command blocks and taking an hour to set it up not to mention the amount of room it takes up... Well anyway, there's a solution! By using the tag "BlockEntityTag" you can /give a chest that appears in the inventory and has items inside when placed! Lets get to it.
Ever seen those items with enchantments on? Ever wanted to do that? Well, actually it's pretty easy once you understand the tags. Some tags you could add to an item are the display, the enchantments or the lore, the possibilities are endless. In this tutorial we're showing you how to use a command block to /give an item with display names, lore and enchantments.
Spawn eggs can be acquired through the creative inventory or through command (cheats must be enabled). For more information on spawn eggs, visit the Minecraft Gamepedia. If you want to acquire spawn eggs through commands, you may have tried /give (username) spawn_egg 1 or something along the lines of that. In actual fact, you're quite close. All you need to do is add a "type". At the end, add the number/DV of the egg you want: /give (username) spawn_egg 1 50. Here is a list of all the numbers and their corresponding spawn egg.
